Classification of Abrasive Products Produced By Enterprises

Factory production of abrasive products mainly corundum abrasives and silicon carbide abrasive two categories, specifically the following: 

     1, Brown corundum abrasives: the main component is Al2O3, with medium hardness, toughness, sharp particles, relatively low price, suitable for processing metal with high tensile strength. Microcrystalline corundum abrasives and black corundum abrasives are derived varieties. 

     2, White corundum abrasives: its hardness is slightly higher than brown corundum, but poor toughness, easy to cut into the workpiece during grinding, good self-sharpening, small heat, strong grinding ability, high efficiency. Chromium corundum abrasives are derived varieties. 

     3, Single crystal corundum abrasives: the particles are composed of a single crystal, and has a good multi-edge cutting edge, high hardness and toughness, strong grinding ability, less grinding heat, the disadvantage is the production cost is higher, the output is lower, so the price is relatively high. Zirconium corundum abrasives are also crystal compounds, slightly lower hardness, finer crystal size, good wear resistance. Especially suitable for dry grinding and volatile, easy to burn the workpiece grinding. 

     4, Black silicon carbide abrasives, green silicon carbide abrasives, cubic silicon carbide abrasives, germanium silicon carbide abrasives, belong to silicon carbide abrasives, the main component is silicon carbide SiC, high hardness, brittleness, sharp abrasive particles, good thermal conductivity, strong wear resistance, more suitable for processing hard and brittle metal and non-metallic products. 

These abrasive products are suitable for mechanical, electronic, metal parts, hardware, tools, auto parts, instruments and meters, casting, medical, craft jewelry and other industry products surface deburring, chamfering, to oxidize skin and surface polishing.
